Not while placing the braces. However the teeth are sensitive for a few days after adjustments; due to the movement of the teeth.

Treatment is aimed to take place during a child's growth spurt. However certain cases are required to start treatment earlier around the age of 8 years. If you notice some signs consult a specialist than leaving it too late.

At the first appointment a specific examination needs to be done in adjunction with impressions, photographs as well as two x-rays. These are required to specifically measure the distance between teeth and jaw growth direction. For more information check out the "First appointment" tab

Due to orthodontic treatment being a long term treatment, it is calculated as a standard deposit & smaller amounts paid monthly for the duration of the treatment. A full quotation will be included with the treatment plan based specifically on treatment required for each case.
